Following a consultation, the time before consumers can raise a complaint to the Ombudsman will be cut from 8 weeks to 6 weeks.<\/p>\n
Penalties could also be levied against suppliers who have failed to pay up on time under redress schemes or carry out the Ombudsman\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n
